Candice Swanepoel Facts
By age 16, Swanepoel was earning £4,500 for one day’s modelling work.
She’s appeared in ads for Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce & Gabbana, Victoria’s Secret, Nike, Diesel, Guess and Versace. Also, George at Asda. Nah, not really George at Asda.
If you saw and heard her sing in that Victoria’s Secret Christmas video a couple of years back, you’ll know that she doesn’t appear to know the words to We Wish You A Merry Christmas. The shame.
Why We Love Candice Swanepoel
Candice took her first steps to supermodel superstardom when she was spotted in a Durban shopping mall by a model scout. “It was like a beautiful flamingo walking past my shop,” says Kevin Elise, the model scout in question. “The way she walked past just did it for me.” We sort of get what he means, although even the sexiest flamingo on the planet wouldn’t look anywhere near as hot in a thong and plunge bra as Candice does – and believe us, we’ve looked at a lot of flamingos-in-lingerie shoots.
Of all the many ad campaigns Candice has been involved with, our personal favourite has to be (have a guess) her scorching-hot work for Victoria’s Secret. To be fair, however, her shoots for the Kardashian sisters’ swimwear range weren’t exactly rough on the ol’ pupils’n’irises either.
