It’s the cult classic that defined a generation (and then the generation after that, and the next one, too).

Now Back To The Future is getting its own documentary, called Back In Time, which was brought to life by Kickstarter. It investigates just how big of an impact the trilogy made. Spoiler: a bloody massive one.

Back To The Future gave us a lot – the Nike Air MAG high-tops, the Delorean and the seemingly neverending attempts to build an actual hoverboard in 2015.

The documentary features brand new interviews with Michael J. Fox, Robert Zemeckis, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson. No stone is left unturned as they explore everything that helped the shape the film – even the non-casting of Eric Stoltz as Marty McFly.

Oh, and the full film will be released on 21 October 2015. When else? Watch the trailer, above.
