In the trailer released for the Yank version yesterday, Will still carries a briefcase, his mum's still hot (really hot) and Simon's car is still as much of a boner-killer as finding a cockroach in your burger. Other than those few bits though, it's a weird watch; sort of like if you walked into your kitchen and a group of tanned strangers with perfect teeth were impersonating your family. There is however, the small matter of the actresses playing the lads' various love interests. If the show was just about them, we'd be all aboard.
We’re not the only ones sceptical about this experiment from across the pond. The last time we checked the YouTube trailer, it had had 7,414 dislikes and a paltry 107 likes. Here’s some people from the comments board that are really, really pissed off.
