How to win at life with the best of FHMManFood
The weirdest fast food creations we're tempted to try
Calorie counters rejoiced today as Burger King announced their lower-fat "satisfries". So we can now eat 20% more fries, which is brilliant news.
But it got us thinking about the other end of the fast food spectrum. The crazy end. After all, we live in a world where deep fried soup exists. So we thought we'd round up the greatest, most brilliant, most ridiculous fast food creations in history...
Mashed Potato Beef Burger - McDonald's, China
The Black Terra Hot Dog - Vegas Premium Hot Dogs, Tokyo
No one knows for sure how it's made, but rumoured ingredients include squid ink and edible bamboo charcoal powder.
Cheeseburger Pizza - Pizza Hut
Deep-Fried Corn Soup - KFC, Japan
Made with 100% Atlantic Lobster meat.
Pork & Seaweed Donuts - Dunkin' Donuts, China
The Bacon Sundae - Burger King, USA (obviously)
Dark Vador Burger - Quick, France
A regular double-patty burger but in a dyed bun, the Dark Vador was created by European fast food chain Quick to coincide with the release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace 3D. They also released a Jedi Burger and Dark Burger, based on Darth Maul.
Deep Fried Kool-Aid Balls - Created by Charlie Boghosian
Originally sold at county fairs, chef Charlie says these are "like donut holes" except they're made from a batter of flour, water and Kool-Aid. They haven't made their way on to any fast food chains' menus yet, but we aren't about to give up hope...
