18 October 2015 is a great day for fans of Star Wars, who also happen to be massive fans of aeroplanes.

The world’s first plane to feature a Star Wars character on its side, the 787-9 dreamliner, is set to fly for the first time on this date, according to The Seattle Times.

In the mean time, it’s being unveiled it to the world. And it looks… exactly what you would expect it to look like, really. It’s a big plane. With R2-D2 painted on it. It might sound like we’re being cynical, but just because we’re not reaching trip-over-your-own-feet levels of excitement, doesn’t mean it’s not cool. Really cool. Who wouldn’t want to fly in a R2-D2 plane?
