This week, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 made history by earning ONE BILLION DOLLARS faster than any other entertainment product in history. But how could you imagine that many units sold? Why, with some poorly-done infographics done in our lunch break, of course!

A note: we're spitballing the figures, here, by taking the average price of the Xbox game and dividing a billion by that. Please don't ask us to show our working. In no way should you treat these otherwise top-notch infographics as definitive sources for the incredible success of MW3. Still. Enjoy!

If you made model elephants out of all the copies of MW3 that have been sold and weren't bothered about scale but wanted to make sure that each weighed as much as a real elephant, you could make 23 and a bit elephants before you ran out of boxes.

If the population of Scotland suddenly became infected with the zombie virus, it turns out that accurate throwing of all the copies of MW3 sold could pretty much deal with the problem.

If you stacked up all the copies of MW3 flat, it would stretch 24 times higher than Mt Everest.

If you tried to eat all the copies of MW3 that have been sold, you'd... well, you get the idea. And don't tell us that's not how you spell haemmorraging. We're not drawing it again.
