Can men from all over the nation gather to sort out the most pressing issues of the day? Can men of different beliefs, with clashing hairstyles and diverse tastes in popular music, work together to fashion a list that encapsulates all that is great about this green and pleasant land? Yes, as someone once said, yes, they can!
For you have voted as never before, my brothers. Not once in the glorious 100-year history of FHM's 100 Sexiest Women poll have you voted more sagely or with more style. The cynics who proclaimed the twilight of democracy have obviously never seen Twilight hottie Kristen Stewart do that thing with her lip. The overpaid pundits who predicted widespread voter apathy this year cannot have caught that Saturdays video where Frankie wears a dressing gown. Any naysayers can't have accounted for Cole.
Voter turnout this year was so high that you have set an example that the rest of the nation will struggle to match. So give yourself a high five. Write to your MP and tell him that in the future he should write to you. All that now remains is to enjoy the results of your dutiful deliberations. And it is, of course, no exaggeration to say that this list represents the best chance humaity has of navigating the 21st Century safely.
