Twelve months ago, it went down to the wire. Not this year. In 2010, Cheryl Cole simply left the competition standing in their stilettos, coughing in her sexy dust. Such was the 26-year-old's lead from the very first week in February that, even before we went to press in April, certain bookmakers were already paying out on a Cheryl win. By the poll's close, no one was even on the same sexual continent in terms of votes. And there are many reasons why. First and foremost? The body, the eyes, the legs, the cheekbones, the hair, that criminally underexposed cleavage. Secondly? Her dominance of TV, magazines and websites across the planet. And thirdly? Oh yes: she managed to lose 150 pounds of useless flab. All of which means that, for a glorious second time, Cheryl Cole is your Sexiest Woman In The World.
