The first time we at FHM saw Bérénice Marlohe was waaay back when the first trailers for the 23rd Bond film Skyfall first hit the internet. “Holy shit,” we exclaimed, swearily. “This looks like it’s going to be about 500 times better than Quantum Of Solace,” we continued, accurately. “And who is that new Bond girl?! We have to get her on the cover.” And just a few months later our wishes came true, as Bérénice Marlohe graced the cover of our December 2012 issue looking like the hottest thing to come out of France since a too-hot croissant that burns your mouth.
Bérénice reckons it was fate that she would appear in Skyfall, thereby gaining overnight international fame. Six months prior to her audition for the film, she had a dream that she’d star in a film alongside Javier Bardem – who, unbeknownst to her, was being lined up as Skyfall’s camp, cackling villain. Spoooooky.
