Why we love Arianny Celeste
No one holds the cards up at a UFC brawl quite like Arianny Celeste. And we’re not saying that lightly. It takes months to train as a ring girl, so she’s earned her stripes in a massive way. The ex-girlfriend of UFC fighter Josh Burkman is an undeniably welcome addition to any sport that focuses on two men kicking each other loads, but is planning to pursue a singing career.
So far, all we've seen to evidence that is Fight To Love Me, a song released in 2011, which sounds an awful lot like Remedy by Little Boots. Which is no bad thing. Whether or not any more material becomes available is yet to be seen, but we're interested. Even if it's mainly for the videos. What? Don't judge us.
Arianny Celeste's talents haven't gone unnoticed, of course – she won Ring Girl of the year in 2009, 2010, and 2011, which is fairly impressive (we've never won it, not even once). She's also the presenter of UFC Ultimate Insider, which is kind of like The Apprentice: You're Fired! but about huge men knocking the shit out of each other in an enclosed space and in November 2010, Arianny appeared in Playboy without much on at all.
According to the bio on her website, her likes include dark chocolate, sushi, dogs, mangoes, dancing, and her family (although presumably not all at once) and her dislikes include red meat (controversial!), cheese, and “rude, judgemental, lazy people.” Bit of an easy last one there, we think.
