Writing my book was really cathartic. It was a load of fun. I learned a lot about grammar and really basic things like spelling and how to construct sentences.

It wasn’t so long ago that Billie Piper was facing up to a future without the two most important men in her life - Doctor Who and Chris Evans. A bleak choice for any woman.

Now happily married to Laurence Fox, ex-husband Evans is the proud godfather of her first child and she’s swapped the Tardis for high-class hooker heels and a whip in The Secret Diary of a Call Girl. A role her killer body and saucy smile make her a natural for.

If that wasn’t enough, there’s no certainty that Rose Tyler is gone for good either. Billie made a welcome return in the Doctor Who series four final episodes and according to Piper, “It’s never really the end for the Doctor and Rose.” Let’s hope she feels the same way about Belle du Jour.
