Why we love Brooke Burke
Burke’s life reads like a Jane Austen novel, albeit one with more thongs and nudity. Born to Donna and George Burke, the first of nine children, Burke has Irish, French and Portuguese heritage but describes herself as Jewish. After high school, Burke studied broadcast journalism at UCLA, where she got into modeling and soon signed with Ford Models, former stable of Lindsay Lohan, Ali Larter, Bar Rafaeli and other platinum trim.
Burke did adverts for Coca-cola and Discover Card as well as swimwear modeling. She was a character in Need for Speed: Underground 2 and also asks the "People and Places" questions in the video game Trivial Pursuit Unhinged. Burke has presented two series of Rock Star and a travel show called Wild On!. Thankfully, Burke enjoyed appearing in Playboy so much, that in 2004 she got her breathtaking cans out for a second time in the venerable old rhythm magazine, which means she retains her place on our list.
Burke then kept her profile up by winning the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars, and was so good she became a co-host of the show.
