Why we love Erin Heatherton
You do wonder what the life of a talent scout in modelling is like… basically all they seem to do is go and leer at hot women all day in a bit of a pervy way seeing as they don’t know they’re being watched, and then decide if they think they have got “it”. Well guess how Erin Heatherton was discovered? Yeah, you’ve guessed it; she was sunning herself on holiday on South Beach in Miami. We suppose the hard part of the job is picking the best grapes from a pretty damn good vine - if it was us we’d be coming back from a scouting mission with thousands of new models.
Anyway, Illinois-born Heatherton had been found in Florida in 2007 and headed for New York to launch her career. In a relatively short space of time it took off, and she’s since modelled for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste and Carolina Herrera. She’s also advertised for Armani Jeans, but of course we know and love her best for her work with Victoria’s Secret.
Once she had made her move up to the pinnacle of lingerie modelling it didn’t take her long to join the cream of the crop. As a featured model in the 2010 SWIM catalogue, she’s also been an ever-present at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show since 2008 and appears in basically every video that stars the other big timers Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Marisa Miller, Miranda Kerr, Lily Aldridge and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
