Katherine Jenkins - Singing beauty

Face of an angel, body of a temptress
Katherine Jenkins
I do not understand where the idea came from that opera is only for privileged people.

After graduating with honours from the Royal Academy of Music, Katherine did many things to earn a crust, from part-time modelling (“I hated all the waiting around all day”) to being a tour guide on the London Eye.

Whilst working as a singing teacher at a school in Hertfordshire, she was invited to showcase her talents for Universal Records. They snapped her up in 2003 on a long-term six-album contract.

Later that year, her first album Premiere was released and we’ve been lusting after her ever since. She’s got a set of lungs on her that we’re certain means she can hold her breath under the duvet for hours at a time.
