Michelle came close to playing Bond girl Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale. She also auditioned to replace Billie Piper as Doctor Who’s companion but couldn't commit.

With her role in Bionic Woman, Michelle Ryan has finally shaken off the ghost of Zoe Slater, a part she played in Eastenders from the age of 15. Despite leaving Albert Square on an open-to-return plot-line that sees Zoe alive and well, living in Ibiza, Michelle has never looked back.
In 2007 she teamed up with Carmen Electra to make a porno in the comedy I Want Candy. And prior to Bionic Woman, she starred alongside James Nesbitt in the BBC's Jekyll. For a while we were scared we were going to lose Michelle to America. But her wicked ways in the Beeb’s Merlin has kept us firmly under her spell, as has an appearance on Doctor Who. She really is magic.
