Nicola Roberts - Scarlet woman

Nicola Roberts
I felt like the ugly one in Girls Aloud. I was tall, skinny, with red hair and the whitest skin you’ve ever seen - standing next to four of the most gorgeous girls in Britain.

The second girl to join Girls Aloud, our favourite shy, pasty redhead appears to have given up the fake tan for good. Nicola’s natural ginge has also been allowed to run free and she’s looking sexier – and Scousier – than ever.

With the likes of Sarah Harding and Cheryl Cole as bandmates, it would be difficult for any woman to stand out, but in the re-make of St Trinians, Nicola’s foxy schoolgirl cameo stirred daydreams of finding ourselves alone with her behind the bike sheds. Possibly with a bottle of Lambrini to add to the occasion.

Peace may have broken out between her and Chris Moyles following their six-year spat (he criticized her looks and labeled her miserable before issuing an on-air apology), but he’ll have to watch his back. Redheads don’t forget.

Vital Statistics

  • The flame-haired minx was eliminated from Popstars: The Rivals but brought back into the final ten after Nicola Ward pulled out.

  • Paying the price of fame, Nicola turned to drink to escape taunts about her looks. Her bandmates would hide nasty newspaper stories about her.

  • Nicola’s co-written two Girls Aloud tracks, It’s Magic and I Say a Prayer For You.
