Why we love Renee Zellweger
For those of you who haven't watched 2001's Bridget Jones's Diary, please, for the love of God, don't. Your life will be changed for the worse. Renée is normally an attractive woman, but in this car crash of a film she is startlingly unpleasant to look at. Obliged to gain 20 pounds for the role (and learn the plummiest 'British' accent imaginable) she wears a Playboy bunny outfit (urgh) and slides down a fireman's pole (double urgh).
The camera comes off worse, engulfed by the sheer volume of her behind. Since then, she's done a sequel (how? why?) and several other not-that-impressive films, but still commands some of the highest pay packets in Hollywood, reportedly pocketing near $15,000,000 for 2003's Cold Mountain.
