Rochelle Wiseman is a very sexy member of The Saturdays who has actually been knocking around on the telly and pop scene for ages. She started out her music career making up part of the pointless ego-stroking mini-band the S Club Juniors/S Club 8, where she somehow managed to get six UK top ten singles. Shame on our country. Miss Wiseman then moved into the dynamic world of kid's TV, sharing a big squashy sofa with the delightful Kirsten O'Brien and talking to a hand puppet.
Since then, the Dagenham-born Rochelle Wiseman has taken her place in the line up for ridiculously hot girl band The Saturdays. Awesome. Then started on-off dating one of JLS to turn herself in to some kind of love-hate figure with teenage girls. Not so Awesome. Still, at least she has already beaten her record at S Club 8, landing eight top ten singles with The Saturdays so far, along with three top ten albums and a cameo appearance on Hollyoaks Later.
In an odd twist of fate, Rochelle Wiseman was already good friends with Frankie Sandford but neither knew that the other was auditioning for a place in The Saturdays until they had both landed themselves a spot, so that worked out pretty well for them. In an even more odd claim to fame, Rochelle is the only person to ever appear on Never Mind The Buzzcocks as a lame identity parade guest (February 2007) and then to be invited back as a famous panel guest (October 2009).
