Somewhere in the maelstrom of re-launching FHM.com (late nights, junk food, physical neglect and the very worst kind of swearing), an email from Todor Peev, the Editor-in-Chief of FHM Bulgaria, dropped unnoticed into our inbox.
Re-visiting it a week later, we found it to contain some genuinely jaw-dropping shots of a model called Sylvia. And some frantic, not-quite-English that we understood to mean: “Cristiano Ronaldo had a crack.”
What, again? The European Footballer of the Year dipped his sickeningly quick feet in FHM’s waters as recently as this summer, taking the plunge with our Stateside model Niki Ghazian (full details here). Now, the admittedly odd-looking Sylvia (26) has revealed yet more chant-worthy fodder, with tales of champagne courtship and saucy texts.
According to the Daily Star, Ronaldo first tried to woo her back in July, while on holiday in Sardinia with his ex Nereida Gallardo. “He sent the waiter to me with a bottle of champagne and a note with his mobile number. To be honest, his interest in me made me curious.”
The saucy texts have continued apace. Even – claims Sylvia - flooding her inbox while he dates Ukrainian beauty Olena Haynes. And the Austrian Times quoted her as being interested in a long-term match up: “I think we have a future together,” she said.
So there you go. What do FHM.com readers make of Sylvia? All relevant vitriol for Cristiano “I’m the first, second and third best player in the world” Ronaldo posted below will be considerately screened before publication – so be imaginative. Some chants would be excellent. We’ll get Todor to translate.
