Australian hurdler Michelle Jenneke stole the headlines this week, but not because of the ease with which she cruised to victory in her heat of the 100 metres hurdles at the World Junior Championships.
No, the 19-year-old captured the hearts and imaginations of athletics fans the world over with this cheeky pre-race warm-up dance.
Sadly, Jenneke won’t be making the trip over to London for the Olympics this summer, but we’ll be keeping two close eyes on the young athlete in the days, months and years between now and the Rio Games in 2016.
