Katy Perry is promoting her new album using guerrilla tactics, first of all she stormed a school prom in Australia and now she has cracked out a gig at the Splash club in New York... whilst dressed as a peacock.
The intimate gig simultaneously entertained the crowd and quelled rumours that you can only dress as a gorilla whilst using guerrilla tactics. Although it is actually only male peacocks that have the colourful plumage that Katy is trying to mimic. Female peacocks also known as peahens actually have a dull brown tail, but we doubt Katy Perry would want to wear something so mundane.
So don't let anyone ever tell you that FHM doesn't supply you with brilliant ave-based knowledge. We're just like Bill Oddie but with less facial hair and we don't have his homely old-man-voice which makes you want to eat crumpets and ring your grandad.

Towards the end of the gig Katy Perry had a bit of a shock when a rogue worm plundered her bosom.
Here is some fan footage of Katy Perry's splash club performance, it's not quite as epic as the fan footage of Axl Rose singing Paradise City through a megaphone at Reading Festival after Guns N' Roses set was cut short, but hey, what are you going to do?
