Rihanna dancing around in bondage gear? Britney Spears gyrating on a stripper’s pole? Why, they’re two great tastes that taste great together!

(If you can't watch the above video for some reason, here's a direct link)

A while ago, there were rumours of a Britney/Rihanna collaboration (Britanna? Ritney? No, neither work) which got us fairly excited, and we’re glad we got our hopes up. The video above is mostly Rihanna strutting sexily around the stage at the Billboard Music Awards ceremony last night in Vegas, which – to be honest – would be enough to report on alone.

Britney Spears and Rihanna sing togther
"Onward to Mordor, Rihanna! We must save the hobbits!"

Her hands are tied together, which is kinky, but she doesn’t really seem to be impeded in any way. We guess she might have difficulties reaching for two different items on her right and left side without turning, and she’s probably barred from having a really good yawn (or doing yoga) but aside from those specific situations it looks like it’s probably just for show.

At one stage, she sprawls across a platform and arms shoot out from the floor to try and grasp her. Kind of sexy and kind of weird, until you see that the one on the far right is looking around for Rihanna as though it was a face. Like that bit in Father Ted when Graham Norton gets trapped under the rockslide. We really wanted to show you that in a .gif, but couldn’t find it. So here’s Mrs Doyle falling off a windowsill instead. Enjoy.

Anyway, yes. Then Britney Spears turned up, rising from the bowels of the stage on a pristine white throne like some leather-clad bondage she-devil. She and Rihanna have a bit of a dance in a sexy “dance-off” kind of way and then retreat to their respective stripper poles (and stripper, uh, tables?) to get down on their lonesomes.

And then, because this is a song about Sadomasochism, they have a pillow fight! Of course. Nothing illustrates the exquisite, almost beautiful balance between pleasure and pain better than a pillow fight. Daring.
