You’ve got to like the MTV Europe Music Awards, because it’s the amalgamation of a lot of hot women in one place, in the name of music. And big name women too – not like Chantelle Houghton or the one that wasn’t Myleene Klass or Kym Marsh in Hear’Say, we’re talking Katy Perry, Shakira and this lovely lady, Rihanna:

And we know what you’re thinking, ‘uh-oh RiRi fell in some flowers’. Well she didn’t, it’s her dress (we know you know), and the inception of such a frock has got to be some conversation to be a part of.

“So, you’re performing at the EMA's Rihanna, do you have any preference to what you want to wear?” “Oh yeah, something with flowers would be good.” “But isn’t flowers a bit boring?” “Well stick them all around my ass then.” Better.

This is how we perceive all great designers to work. Said designer was obviously in for a busy week though seeing as performing at awards leads artists to need enough outfits to clothe half of Burma as a minimum. So in an act of genius they sent a plain white dress along with a load of crepe paper and some PVA glue to class three’s art teacher at the local primary school. And a lot of fun was had.

For her next performance Rihanna will be wearing another plain white dress, this time covered in potato-print paint shapes and trimmed with corrugated scissors. Maybe with some glitter glue too, if she’s pushing the boat out.
