The MOBO award nominations were announced last night, which meant a party. Tinie Tempah – who name checks us on his new album, we discovered yesterday, oh yes – had the most nominations with four, including Best Newcomer, Best UK Act and Best Song. Dizzee Rascal, Professor Green, N-Dubz and Plan B each have three nominations.
Speaking of N-Dubz, the group's singer Tulisa was at the party. She looked like this.

Then Fazer sidled up to her and collectively they looked like this.

Dappy wasn't at the party. He was perhaps buying, or hopefully knitting, some new funny hats. Actually, he missed his flight from Greece, the big daft thing. N-Dubz are nominated Best UK Act, Best Song (Playing With Fire) and Best Album.
Alexandra Burke was nominated as Best UK Act. She looks utterly splendid at the moment. Exhibit A:

Based on her new video, for Start Without You, next year she will be nominated for Most Excellent Use Of Leotard-Type Get Ups In A Music Video For A Song That Sounds A Bit Too Summery For Autumn. She'd have that sewn up. Exhibit B in the case for Alexandra Burke Looks Splendid at the Moment:
