It’s a fact, gents: summer truly is just around the corner. How do we know this? Well, there's just the small matter of Victoria's Secret girls Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel and Adriana Lima swanning around in spanking new swimwear. Sure, we were getting clues when the beer garden doors started bursting open and our temptations for a Twister ice lolly suddenly increased tenfold, but this confirms it. Our annual three or four days of solid good weather – otherwise known as British summer – is imminent.
"...and then tiger gave me his pants as a thank you"
Don’t believe us? Hmmm. Okay. Admittedly, it was still raining when we eventually got up this morning and we could’ve lost a testicle to the cold if we’d donned a pair of shorts and a (obviously very fashionable) t-shirt for the journey into work.
But still, stay with us. Yesterday was a landmark day for fans of sexy ladies everywhere - that's you - with the launch of the Victoria’s Secret 2011 swimwear range. “So what?!” we hear you cry.
Well, aside from all the boring PR stuff, all you need to know is this: it meant three of our favourite Victoria's Secret girls Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel and Adriana Lima kitting themselves out in new bikinis and going for a walk around the streets of LA. Fortunately our cameras were there to capture the moment. Pretty lucky, eh?
Victoria’s Secret are fast becoming a modern day saint – well, in the modelling industry, anyway. Only the other day were they handing out free bras to another troop in their army of sexy girls, in the delectable shape of Lindsay Ellingson. Now they’re keeping the spirits of men everywhere lifted by squeezing into ridiculously well-fitting bikinis.
See? We told you that summer was pretty close. Victoria, we salute you and your secret. Whatever that is. Presumably it's that all your girls are hotter than that extra-spicy chilli sauce we had on our kebab last night. In that case it's the world's worst kept secret. Still, props to you. Want to see more? Then we oblige. We got these snaps purely from a fashion perspective of course...
