Paris Hilton is being sued by the hair company that paid her to exclusively wear their product. 'HairTech' allege she wore a rival's product and want $35 million in damages.

We’ve got a few problems with this.

Problem One: HairTech want $35m in damages.

That’s a hell of a lot of money. And it’s ten times what Paris was originally paid. That’s a bit like your mate spilling your pint and you demanding his firstborn son by way of recompense. Slight overreaction, yeah?

Problem Two: Part of their case is the fact Paris missed a launch party they laid on to celebrate a new line in hair extensions back in 2007, because she was in prison. They claim this lost them $6.6m.

That, again, is a hell of a lot of moola. $6.6m?! Must have been some party. We can’t begin to imagine how much vodka jelly that paid for. We think they might be exaggerating, just a tiny little bit.

Problem Three: HairTech say that Paris Hilton’s party-filled lifestyle goes against its marketing campaign.

Hold on. If you’ve got a marketing campaign that doesn’t fit well with a celeb who likes a party, who’s the last person you’d hire to front that campaign? Paris ‘I party hard’ Hilton. Anyway, she missed your party, didn’t she? Make your bloody minds up. Idiots.
