After making them look like idiots in the upcoming Bruno movie, Sasha Baron Cohen gave Texans a sneak peak of the film this weekend. One of the clips included interviews with parents willing to let their kids get lipo to get them in Bruno’s performance art project (thanks, mum). Another had Bruno posing as “Straight Dave” in a martial arts contest, which lasted until Bruno’s ex showed up and they started making out in the ring. Not really the smartest thing to do in the deep south.
But a clip no one’s seen yet really takes the piss out of the Alabama National Guard. Cohen convinced them to let him train at the Alabama Military Academy, pretending to be making a German TV documentary. It took a while after he stripped down to a thong for a cadet to recognize him. You’d think they’d have learned from Borat.
Guess not.
