You’re muddy, you’re smelly, and you’ve camped next to a someone with an acoustic guitar who only knows how to play ‘You’re beautiful’ by James Blunt. There's one thing you could do with right now, and that’s an ice-cold pint of draught lager. Mmm, fizzy on your tongue. Thankfully, this summer, that can be a reality as Carling are bringing this simple pleasure to music fans around the UK. Kicking off at the first two major festivals of the season, this Summer punters will see the welcome return of The Carling Local to the Isle of Wight Festival and its debut at Rockness and V Festival. Taking the ‘local’ concept one step further, this year The Local will be situated in the campsite, meaning that you and your mates can enjoy a perfectly poured pint whenever you choose.
Like music loving warthogs, you and your pals can wallow at this watering hole, complete with DJ’s, pub games, and, most importantly, a perfectly poured, ice cold pint of Carling, The Local is the perfect place to enjoy the festival atmosphere with your mates. If you’ve got your tickets to this weekends Isle of Wight Festival or Rockness this weekend (11th -13th June, 2010) we’ll see you for a scoop. Otherwise it’ll be a few quenchers at V Festival (Chelmsford and Stafford), 21st-22nd August, 2010. Cheers!
