Yesterday, 18-year-old South African runner Caster Semenya won the gold medal in the women’s 800m at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin. Watch the video, above. She was pretty happy. No one else was. Instead, the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) have decided that she might be a man, and are subjecting her to some (presumably humiliating) gender tests. You’d think the question “have you got a shlong?” followed by the answer “no” would be enough. Apparently not.
Curiously, she’s not the first athlete this has happened to. Earlier this year, German tennis player Sarah Gronert had similar tests. Apparently she was born with all possible forms of genitalia, but had her cock lopped off and is now legally a woman. Here’s how she rolls:
In the 1920s and ‘30s, Polish runner Stanislawa Walasiewicz’s had her femininity questioned when she set 51 Polish records, 18 world records and 8 European records. When she died, an autopsy showed she had a willy, but that she had XX and XY chromosomes. She was a man and a woman. Here she is in action:
So far, that’s all we’ve got. Any more? Answers below, and we’ll add them.
