The 10 Most Mouth-Watering Burgers In The Good Ole U.S. Of A

What's more American than a good old fashioned, ooey-gooey, cheesy, burger? Nothing, that's what! Well, actually burgers originated in Germany, but as Americans we do like taking credit for things we didn't come up with, so it's all pretty on brand.

The problem with burgers nowadays is that people rarely venture out to ACTUAL restaurants to eat them. They'll head to Shake Shack or Mc'Donald's or In-N-Out (if you're lucky enough to live on the west coast). It's not that those places aren't absolutely amazing, but at the end of the day, they're chains. Sometimes it's nice to step outside that mentality and support some real culinary artistry.

Believe me, I know it's not easy. I LOVE Shake Shack. I'm actually thinking of heading there after work, but every so often, try something new! This list isn't inclusive of every state in The U.S. (obviously, there's only 10) but it covers a pretty wide array of national regions from west coast to east coast to the south to the midwest. I'm including everyone in the party! You're welcome.

Now without further adieu, here are the most food porn worthy burgers in The U.S.—
