No matter who you are or what your interests are, there's a very good chance that you'd played your fair share of video games in your lifetime. Now, that doesn't mean you consider yourself a "gamer" who takes on different titles and competes with others around the globe, but it does mean you know the go-to characters who have helped define certain franchises.
While there are a number of badass, recognizable and talented video game characters, we took on the task of listing the most iconic. You know, the ones who were either most feared and, more importantly, became cult legends through their pixelated skills.

Don't get me wrong, Mike Tyson in the video game Punch-Out!! was a bad dude, but he could be beaten, which is the reason why Iron Mike finds himself "only" at No. 10 on this list.
Still, with the pixelated version of Tyson as cocky, arrogant and hard-hitting as the real-life version of the former heavyweight champ, he was difficult to conquer as gamers played with Little Mac in the quest to rise to the top of the boxing circuit.
