Adidas has drawn rave reviews about a lot of there unique approaches and limited edition, custom cleats over the years, and, in their most recent release, the three-striped brand has unveiled its "Silver Pack" featuring the limited edition UltraBOOST Cleat and limited edition UltraBOOST 3.0 with Silver BOOST.
Merging a sneaker and football cleat, the UltraBOOST cleat helps the gridiron's fastest, versatile and most explosive football players blend style and technology to perform at the highest level.
The UltraBOOST running shoe has become one of the adidas' most iconic design, so blending it with a cleat design makes it a one-of-a-kind style that gives athletes a comfortable and breathable fit, allowing them to plant and cut with ultimate protection to their foot.
Per the press release, here's how adidas describes its newest, limited edition cleat:
"A midfoot cage welded into the upper wraps around the foot to provide a lockdown feel for multidirectional movement and control, while a reinforced toecap helps provides structure and protection during plants and cuts. The trademark UltraBOOST heel clip construction cradles the heel to help keep the foot centered over the top of the plate during acceleration and stopping."
"A BOOST sockliner helps provide comfort and further reduces cleat pressure, while an all-new RAZORFRAME provides torsional rigidity and features strategically placed SPRINTSTUDS designed to provide peak performance and multi-directional strength and traction."
Featuring an updated rib structure Primeknit upper for an even better fit, the UltraBOOST features a full-length BOOST midsole comprised of 3,000 energy capsules, while the midsole technology helps return energy with each step, providing world-class cushioning for ultimate comfort.
