For those of you who aren't aware, Tomb Raider has gotten a 2018 reboot that hit the box office this past weekend. Consequently, Lara Croft has also gotten a reboot. Now, don't get us wrong, we'll always have love for Angelina Jolie, but there's no denying that Alicia Vikander absolutely kills it in this role. Even if critics and audiences alike have taken issue with the film's overall plot, the general consensus is that Vikander was born to play this role. We mean, come on, just look at her!
The 29-year-old Swedish beauty has already proved her acting chops in films such as Ex-Machina, Jason Bourne and The Danish Girl — which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role back in 2015. That said, Tomb Raider has made her a true, badass leading lady and we're excited to see where the future of the franchise takes Vikander in her career.
In the video below from WIRED, Alicia answers all of the web's most pressing questions about her — including how to pronounce her name, if she's single, and just how much kickass training it took to pull off her Tomb Raider body.
Pretty informative, huh? Alicia Vikander seems just as awesome off-screen as she does on-screen. It's a real shame she's not single, though. Michael Fassbender is one lucky dude. Did you take special notice to when she answered how they met? We sure did and we're about to head out right now and brush up on our dance moves. We suggest you do the same.
