Atlanta Falcons Lost In The Worst Way Possible, Gave Up A Returned Two-Point Attempt To Lose By One

The NFL is chock full of crazy plays week-after-week, but what I just saw between the Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons is something I've never seen in my 32-plus years on this planet.

Here's some background: After the Falcons scored a touchdown to take a one-point lead with about 4:30 left in the game, the team decided to try and stretch their lead to three—which, most people would agree, is conventional wisdom.

Unfortunately, Kansas City's All-Pro safety Eric Berry had other thoughts.

As the video shows, Berry picked-off a Matt Ryan two-point attempt and returned it for two points to his team, giving Kansas City the lead, 29-28—which, ultimately, ended up being the final score.

The Kansas City defensive back also had a pick-six in this game, too, so, yeah, Eric Berry straight balled out in his hometown of Atlanta today.
