I don't really believe in the concept of certain televisions shows being for men or for women. I think we can all universally enjoy whatever entertainment we want, whenever we please.
That semi-forced politically correct statement aside, it can be said that men and women, on occasion, have different tastes in television. For example, I would rather watch grass grow or of course, paint dry, then watch an MLB game or even worse, Monday Night Raw. My brothers and father however, really seem to enjoy those "programs." For what reason, I'll never understand, but sometimes an example is necessary to really drive home the point, ya dig??
These modern television sitcoms (or comedy series, if you prefer) are definitely more geared to a male audience for a multitude of reasons. Take Modern Family it may not be raunchy, but there's Sofia Vergara and Ariel Winter so how can you really complain? Or how about It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia? Has there EVER been a television show written in the history of shows that's more piss in your pants funny, while being so deeply, deeply, uncomfortable? Oh, and you can't possibly forget the classics like Family Guy, South Park, and The Simpsons. I mean any show that's been on for more than 2 seasons nowadays, while being animated no less has to be a smash worth watching. It's hard out there for a cartoon!!
All 10 sitcoms are in the video below and vary greatly as far as how you can watch them. From CBS to Netflix and every major network in between, there's something for everyone! Take a look:
IN ORDER: Family Guy, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Master of None, South Park, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Silicon Valley, Modern Family, The Simpsons, The Big Bang Theory, Louie.
