Look, we've all been there before. You start off with a shot, maybe two, throw in some champagne, a floater you found in the bathroom and all of a sudden you're blackout drinking. Is it healthy? Absolutely not. Is it safe? Nope. Can it always be helped? Erm, that's where the lines get a little blurry (pun intended). See, if you're the type of drinker who intends to blackout every time they consume alcohol, then yes, you have a problem; there's no arguing that. If it's happened to you by accident, hey! It's OK, we're all human. Alcohol is basically F'in poison, after all. Blacking out, unfortunately, is par for the course.
Take the time back in college when we handed a homeless man the entire contents of our wallet, mistaking Benjamin Franklin's face for Abraham Lincoln's, just to name a (fiscally irresponsible, yet philanthropic) example. Truly, guys, it happens to the best of us. The important part? If you're fortunate enough to wake up somewhere safe the next day, that's all that matters.
Trouble is, that's not always the case. In fact, waking up next day is more than half the battle. Not only are you terribly hungover, there's a strong chance you have no F'in clue where you are. This sentiment was never made more apparent than when reddit user, randomhobo posed the following, "You get drunk. You black out. What's the best/worst/weirdest place you've woken up."

Let this be a lesson to you all, if you're going to drink (heavily or otherwise) make sure you have a buddy or, at the very least, share your location with someone on your phone. Yes, drop a damn pin. You don't need to wake up in another state or worse, another country. The only thing more painful than a hangover after blacking out, is having to travel with a hangover after blacking out.
