It's not every day that we decide to acknowledge a celebrities birthday, but in the case of the beautiful Brooklyn Decker, exceptions had to made.
In case you've lived under a rock for the past decade, let us fill you in. Decker is an American model (and a DAMN good one at that) who is best known for her features in the Sport's Illustrated Issue. She even snagged the cover back in 2010.
She has also played her hand quite well at acting. Perhaps her most notable and frankly, iconic scene, is a slow motion bikini scene in the movie, Just Go With It, along side Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. Since, she has gone onto play various roles including Mallory on the Netflix Original Series, Grace and Frankie starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen, and Sam Waterston.
On getting her unique name, Decker once explained:
"I'm named after a horse. My mom's best friend had a horse named Brooke, so my dad suggested 'Brooklyn' as a more formal version, and it just stuck - and now I live in Brooklyn part-time, so go figure."
On her athletic ability she says:
"I have zero hand-eye coordination - zero - so I've never been good at softball, basketball, golf, things like that, but I'm really strong and I have really good endurance so I can go forever - I'm a tough girl."
We're just going to go ahead and let you guys linger over the phrase, "I can go forever" for a little while. Nope, give it one more minute.
Alright, alright, that's enough!
Here at FHM, we wanted to wish Brooklyn a very happy 30th birthday and we do hope she continues to grace the big screen and magazine pages with her humor, beauty and talent for years to come.
