We've been actively keeping up with all things Call Of Duty: WWII since the announcement was made back in April. If you thought we were stoked then, you won't believe how stoked we are now after this kick-ass campaign trailer dropped. Seriously, the graphics are off the chain, almost blurring the lines between game and reality (which is exactly what any honest to goodness fan of syndicated warfare loves to hear).
Beyond the graphics, it seems the brand was really trying to up the gamer-experience. You aren't just shooting at Axis infantry with reckless abandon, you are being walked through some of the most poignant battles in history — including, but not limited to, the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge.
Take a look, we know you guys won't be disappointed....
We don't know about you guys, but that seriously felt like watching a clip straight from the movie Pearl Harbor, only difference is, there was no Kate Beckinsale to temper the sting of war, violence and senseless tragedy with her beauty — such a bummer.
Official campaign trailer aside, there's definitely more to be shared on the iconic, soon-to-be-released video game. According to digitaltrends these are the key plot points y'all should be the most pumped for. Yes, we'll go ahead and summarize them for you:
War Mode involves asymmetrical, strategic gameplay that sees both the Allies and the Axis working to take objective points.
Players will be able to choose from different (5) "iconic World War II divisions", each having their own combat and training skills.
Male and female players are available in competitive multiplayer mode.
"Headquarters" is being featured as a new social mode that allows players to interact between battles.
While the game is titled WWII, the majority of the historical references, battles, and narrative will take place between 1944 and 1945.
Zombie Mode will be making an appearance — a very gory, horror-like appearance, at that.
As you can see, Call Of Duty: WWII looks like the bomb.com (pun absolutely intended) and we can't wait for it to drop (again, pun absolutely intended) on November 3 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
