Call of Duty is easily one of the most popular video game franchises of all time the reason of which is lost on me, as I've made it clear that simulated warfare scares me, but hey! There's something for everyone, amirite? Speaking of scary, let's get straight to the leaked Nazi Zombie trailer. It's frightening on a couple of accounts which of course, I'll go ahead and list for ya'll right now:
The zombie gore is made all the more disgusting when you throw in a German accent and dialogue about The Fourth Reich.
The trailer itself is only a partially completed project, which for avid CoD fans is pretty crappy. It's unfortunate that such a monumental build-up was halted with a trailer that's not yet ready for viewing. Damn hackers, why do they have to ruin everything?
Sledgehammer apologized for the leak in the tweet seen below and promises that the finished product is just around the corner. Originally, this coming Thursday, July 20th, was the anticipated trailer release date for fans to discover what they'll be up against in Call of Duty: WW2 come November 3, 2017.
Alright, enough of my rambling, go ahead and take a look at the trailer. I suppose I should go ahead and warn about the graphic content, then again the words, "nazi" and "zombie" should have REALLY tipped you off. You know, given the fact that those two things are notoriously associated with violence, bloodshed and well, death.
As per UPROXXX—“Our team has been cranking on this year’s Zombies and it’ll be more gruesome and terrifying than ever,” Sledgehammer has promised." Well, given that trailer I'll go ahead and give Sledgehammer the nod on gruesome and terrifying, but next time, I hope they keep it a little more hush-hush. Then again, who knows? This could have all been a publicity stunt—stranger things have happened in the land of video games.
