Bikini Beans Espresso in Kent, Washington (among two other Arizona locations) is staffed entirely by bubbly, scantily-clad baristas looking to fill your morning cup of Joe. Talk about a morning pick-me-up, huh?
There's been some controversy as to whether it's really appropriate to have nearly naked women serving coffee, but entrepreneur Carlie Jo, who owns Bikini Beans has addressed the issue openly:
“As the first bikini barista shop in Arizona, we want to empower women to be, and feel good about, themselves. Women everywhere have the right to vote, to be gay, to be successful community leaders and business owners, or even run for president! We have the right to work with grace, confidence and dignity, regardless if it’s in a business suit, scrubs, or a bikini.”
I mean, I'm totally down for it. So long as the women are comfortable and make sure not to burn themselves, it seems like a perfectly respectable establishment. Nudity isn't just for the night time.
We're sitting here wondering if the coffee is any good, but then again, with service like that, does it really matter?
