Conor McGregor, the biggest name in the UFC who just became the first fighter in the company's history to carry two title belts from division weight classes, has his eyes set on yet another athletic feat, according to his agent Audie Attar.
Talking to the podcast Five Rounds yesterday, Attar hinted at McGregor being open to the move to WWE because, "it's all about business, man."
Here's what else Attar had to say about the big news, per Unilad:
"If [WWE] is going to come with an offer, we are willing to entertain it. We are here. Have their people call his people - which is me. We can have a conversation."
That might not be the set-in-stone answer we've all been waiting for, but Attar seems to echoing Conor's very own claims, as he's hinted at at least appearing in a WWE event in the past.
In fact, McGregor has kept a not-so-distant eye on the wrestling giant, both bad-mouthing some of its "superstars" as well as even giving props to former WWE member CM Punk when he tried making the transition to the UFC earlier this year, per TMZ.
The ultimate entertainer, Conor McGregor would be a huge gamble with an even higher reward for WWE, who would have to toss out some serious cash at him to try and get him.
In the meantime, let's just reminisce about how McGregor currently feels about WWE, per a tweet from this past August.
I didn't mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I'd slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday's.— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) August 7, 2016
Ah, yes, this needs to happen.
