FHM 100 Sexiest Women In The World 2015: The Furious Backlash...

Anybody keeping up-to-date with the general election will be aware of the old adage that 'you can't please all of the people, all of the time'.

And at no point is this truth more evident than in the annual, spittle-soaked aftermath of FHM 100 Sexiest Women In The World.

It's easy to understand why people are so passionate about the results - for a lot of readers, the stakes are worryingly high...

Because, as you well know, the 100 Sexiest is a big deal. Each year, millions of people crane patiently over their Twitter feeds, eagerly awaiting the final countdown - and their chance to swear at us in new and innovative ways.

The hysteria can become a bit too much for some people, leaving them scared and confused...

But the 100 Sexiest waits for no one - and so, bang on time, the list was unfurled upon your feeds, ready and willing to ruffle some feathers.

And, boy, did we ruffle some feathers. We ruffled them good.

First-up we have Wilton, a furious man who truly understands the power of a good, old fashioned all-caps rant...

And then there was Andrew, who found himself personally offended by the outcome of the poll...

Unknown-6-1

Who could forget Edward, who, for a reason he doesn't make explicitly clear, thinks we should all just go and have a sleep...

One man lost all faith in the British public...

The shock exclusion of Scarlett Johansson was a big talking point...

It wasn't all so angry, of course - a lot of support was shown for master baker Mary Berry, who was well-placed at number 74...

And a lot of people tried to offer a little constructive criticism of our glorious list. Here's Lucia, who emailed to offer her own alternative...

Dear FHM,
I am appalled, no, I am disgusted, not at the fact that such a list has been made but by who is in your top 10.
My main issues concern Miss Upton, Miss Flack and Miss Brook who I believe shouldn't be in the list at all let alone the top 10! I firmly believe that Kim Kardashian-West should be at the very least in the top 3, I speak on behalf of the world of Kardashian fans.
I don't understand how Miss Keegan can be first place, when Mila Kunis (who was at number 1 last year) is at the 44th place, how can it be that 43 women have become more attractive than her in the space of just 12 months? I suggest that the top 10 should be as followed:
10. Sofia Vergara
9. Shakira
8. Rhianna
7. Gigi Hadid
6. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
5. Kendall Jenner
4. Jennifer Lawrence
3. Amelia Clarke

2. Beyoncè
1. Kim Kardashian-West

But after all's said and done, one thing's for sure - the FHM 100 Sexiest got people talking (nay, screaming), and that's what really matters, isn't it?

Do you have anything to say about the list? A hot take that just can't wait to be heard? Tell us on Twitter or Facebook with the hashtag #100Sexiest, and you could appear in the magazine!
