For as long as we can remember Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has been a staple of the Hip Hop community. From his clothing line (Sean John) and record label (Bad Boy Records) to his booming spirits brand (Ciroc). Diddy has truly solidified himself as a bona fide icon. If we we're using common youth lingo we'd say the man is a straight-up boss man savage.
For the purposes of this article, calling him an icon will just have to do. Not only does he have the credentials and accolades of an icon, he has the bank account of one too! Diddy explained to Forbes:
"I’ve always understood that if I give the customers my best and service them differently, whether music, clothing or vodka, I’ll get a return on my hard work."
Spoken like a true titan of industry — actually, make that INDUSTRIES. There's nothing Diddy can't turn into millions and that's something to be admired (and freakin' envied). Some of y'all (ourselves included) can't even pay bills on time! Then again, laziness might play a large role there.
Below you'll find some other heavy-hitting names in the Hip Hop community. A few will surprise you, a few won't!
