Not long ago, we were lucky enough to have Holly Wolf sit down with us to reveal the 10 things every guy does that ladies can't stand. We took in-depth notes and tried to correct some of those things, Holly, we promise!
Well, the Instagram model and cosplayer — who has more than 620,000 followers — is back to tell us a little bit more about herself. Naturally, when a pretty lady tells you she's cool to tell her deepest and darkest secrets, well, you don't turn her down. Hell, you do backflips and make sure you set three alarms to make sure you aren't late.
Since our crush on Holly Wolf was already pretty high, it was cool to hear her talk more about herself and talk about some of the things she did while growing up, how she broke into the modeling industry and, as you might imagine, where her love for video games and cosplay comes from. As a gaming gal, it's one of the many things we like about Holly — well, other than those and indescribable sex appeal she has.
So, what's the Instagram model and cosplayer like? Keep on reading to see what Holly Wolf had to tell us, as these are the 7 things she absolutely, positively wants you to know about her!
I Grew Up Mormon. I was born into the Mormon religion after my parents converted when they were in their early '20s. I went to church every Sunday, did weekly Mormon activities and went to Bible study before high school every morning for all four years. I even dated a few Mormon boys, but wasn't really into it. It wasn't until late in high school, and later on in college, that I really went out of my way to distance myself from the church. It was a great thing to grow up on, but I don't agree with everything the church teaches.
My School Nickname. I spent three summers and a good chunk of those winters building an Earthship. When I was 12, my parents sold our house and moved into our cousins while we slowly built a house by ourselves. Kids at school started to call me a hobbit since earthships are built into the earth and are, for the most part, underground, so my house looked like something out of Lord Of The Rings. I learned how to weld, pour concrete and operate heavy machinery by the age of 15. If you aren't aware of what an Earthship is, well, it's an environmentally friendly house that's built with all recycled materials, without being connected to the grid.
I'm A Musical Theatre Major. I studied theatre in college, and started working in theatre productions before I had graduated. Touring with theatre productions like High School Musical 2 and dancing for Katy Perry and many Canadian artists such as Shawn Desman, I danced out of college for years and studied in several dance companies. Dancing all those years, and working with companies, I had to do studio shoots and headshots, which led to my love of photography and my transition into modeling. I also studied stunt work and Tae Kwon Do for most of my childhood, and spent some decent time on TV and movie sets as a stunt person.
Literally Born A Gamer Girl. I've been playing video games for as long as I can remember. When I started cosplaying, I used to get a lot of heat for entering into a community that people didn't think I was a part of. But, as a young child, I used to go down to my grandma's apartment (she lived in the basement suite in our house) and watch her play video games before I could play myself. She loved to play Sonic The Hedgehog on the Sega Genesis. From there, my family bought us a N64 and I would spend my school afternoons and summers playing Smash, Mario Kart and GoldenEye with my family and our friends. I would even get my friends to come over and play certain sections of games that I was too scared to play myself to make sure I could progress through the storylines. When The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time was released, it was a game-changer for me, and Zelda still remains my favorite series of all time, with Final Fantasy a close second.
I've Never Touched A Piece Of Red Meat. Not only did I grow up Mormon, but my parents were also vegetarians. And I, of course, had no choice but to follow suit. I still continue to avoid any meat, and have an extremely low intake of dairy, if any at all. This was also something I got made fun of a lot for in school, since it wasn't nearly as normal as it is today.
I Love To Stay In. My social media can make it seem like I'm a massive socialite, at times, but I love to cook and stay at home. Cooking my own meals might be one of my most loved things to do, and I love to test out new recipes. I should be buying a house soon, and I can't wait to have a gorgeous kitchen! I'm also a massive lover of anime, and I choose that genre of show over all others, staying home, cooking some great veggie food and binge-watching new and exciting anime series. I'd much rather stay in over going out to a loud bar or event any day.
I'm Such A Book Worm. One of my favorite jobs was working at a bookstore. I grew up reading fantasy novels at a young age, so I have a thing for dark elves and epic story lines. I used my discount as much as possible and would only buy hardcover books. Books were such a safe place for me, and, while everyone else my age was reading Harry Potter, I was reading all the entries into the Lord Of The Rings novels and the extensive series that is The Legend of Drizzt.
