Yep, it's that time of year, when the days get a little shorter and the crisp air makes us bundle up a hell of a lot more. With Halloween just weeks away, we're already getting in the spooky spirit.
While your neighbors have already started putting up their decorations — like that giant, inflatable ghost that plays music anytime a person gets within 10 feet of it — you're just trying to plan your costume while hoping to avoid eating a bunch of candy that you're buying way-too-early at grocery stores. And, although the holiday may still be about six weeks away, we just love this time of year so much that we had to visit Universal Studios Hollywood to check out their annual Halloween Horror Nights event, which, as you might expect, was scary AF!
This year, there are seven scary mazes and three scare zones. They've also replaced the 'Studio Tour' with the 'Titans of Terror Tram: Hosted by Chucky' — which turns the beloved tour around the world-famous studio backlot into a nightmare. Internationally renowned dance crew The Jabbawockeez also return with an all-new show.
Rubbing shoulders with celebrity guests like Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, LeBron James, Vanessa Hudgens and Guns N’ Roses guitarist, Slash, among others, on opening night, it was hard for us to say no to the ‘American Horror Story: Roanoke’ maze... we just couldn't go through it alone. Let’s just say that, if you like pigs, you won’t after watching this.
So, go ahead and flip on some Netflix to binge-watch a bunch of horror movies and make sure to load up on the candy for October 31, because this is the best time of year to scare and be scared — and we're already in the spirit following our trip to Universal Studio's Halloween Horror Nights.
