Be honest, how often are you paying attention when the bartender is mixing up those killer layered shots on a Saturday night? Chances are, if you're like us, you're more concerned with throwing them back then learning how to replicate them. Trouble is, there's going to come a time in every man's life when he has to hang up the bar card and invest in a bar cart. That's right, eventually your life will be more about house "get togethers" and less about happy hour.
Instead of looking at this as a negative, why not turn it into a positive? If you're significant other is pressuring you guys to have people over, that doesn't mean it has to be boring. You can still add some personality to the night and that's where these kickass layered shots come in. Brought to you by Tipsy Bartender on YouTube, this tutorial focuses more on ingredients than technique. Stay tuned for that below!
OK, so, as you saw those layered shots look absolutely delicious. Also, we happen to think it would be incredibly entertaining to order a round of blow jobs, but that's just because we're man children. Moving forward, as far as technique is concerned, according to SheKnows follow the steps below and you'll be creating killer layered concoctions in no time flat:
What You'll Need To Layer A Shot
Jigger — Where to buy: Amazon, $8.95
Teaspoon — Where to buy: Amazon, $5.50
Shot glasses — Where to buy: Amazon, $8.99
How To Layer A Shot
Measure the densest liquor into the jigger, and then pour it into the shot glass.
Measure the next-densest liquor. Place the spoon upside down with the tip inside the shot glass.
Slowly pour the liquor over the back of the spoon.
Repeat for any remaining less dense liquors.
Alright, guys, time to bump LMFAO's "shots" and have a great night. Only problem is that it's Wednesday and we have work tomorrow. We're going to go ahead and pencil that in for Friday at 5 o'clock on the dot, we hope you'll do the same.
