If there was one day where we all got to live out our fat kid dreams while younger, it was Halloween, when our parents trusted strangers to drop loads of candy in a bag for us to chow down on—after mom and dad inspected it, of course.
While we all may be a little too old for that trick-or-treat shit anymore, the month of October is pretty much full of eating sweets in preparation of the holiday. Knowing that, our good friends over at Influenster put together a map that shows each U.S. state's favorite Halloween candy.
Polling over 40,000 people for its survey, Influenster found that the top-3 candies were, in order, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Kit Kats and Butterfingers. I'm a Sour Patch Kids kind of guy myself, but I can get down with Butterfingers, too.
One question for the people in Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Wyoming, though, what's with candy corn taking the top spot in those states? What, is it the 1600s with no other options available? Get on our level!
