There have been plenty of messed up teacher-student sex scandals, but one that includes a married, 29-year-old teacher and not one, but two, 17-year-old male students allegedly having sex in her classroom is pretty wild.
According to Daily Mail, though, that's what happened between June Kendall and a couple of male students at a Chicago prep school, leading to Ms. Kendall being arrested after cops investigated her classroom amid allegations.
June Kendall, 29, an Urban Prep teacher, has been charged with sexually assaulting two students, police said Saturday.
Police said Kendall and the victim, a student, engaged in inappropriate acts on schools grounds on more than one occasion.
During the course of the investigation, detectives say they found evidence she had sex with a second male student.
So, not only did the teacher cheat on her husband with a couple of underage teens—who, reportedly, is standing by her side through this—but she did so in her classroom, which is a big no no. Regardless of where something like this would have happened, June Kendall was relieved of school-related responsibilities, being placed on administrative leave.
A school administrator had this to add, per Daily Mail.
"Our number one priority is, and always will be, the welfare, safety and education of our students."
Following a private investigation, one student admitted that Kendall had "engaged in inappropriate acts," last month at the school, with another boy saying another boy had sex with the teacher later that day as well. Witnesses say that the first boy was seen with Kendall after 20-25 minutes alone in her classroom, while the second boy is said to have told a friend about what happened afterwards.
According to the Daily Mail report, the teacher had befriended the boys on Snapchat last year—never smart—with the content of each snap getting more risque as time went on.
After appearing in court this past weekend and held on $100,000 bond, June Kendall is due back today.
