When we first came across Mia Gray online — an Instagram model and total knockout — it was easy to see why we just had to contact her. In addition to her aforementioned stunning looks, Mia is savvy as hell in the way that she engaged with her fans, moving beyond posting a few pics and videos on Instagram for people to drool over.
So, how does Mia Gray differentiate herself from of other gals out there? She has a website that allows fans to pay for exclusive content and behind-the-scenes looks at some of her photoshoots. It's that type of business acumen that's both impressive and revolutionary in the way an Instagram model can interact with her audience.
And, while we're thoroughly impressed with the way that Mia has promoted herself and used numerous avenues to get herself in front of an online audience, at the end of the day, it's hard not to go gaga over her pictures. Hey, we're just being honest here, guys. We mean, look at the amount of sex appeal she has and your eyes instantly get glued to the screen.
However, while Mia Gray is killin' it nowadays, while growing up, she talked about getting bullied by other kids, even self-describing herself as the "ugly duckling." Well, the model has grown up and turned herself into quite the woman, so we just had to talk with Mia to get her thoughts on overcoming some of those insecurities while younger, as well as how her former experiences with ladies led to a friends with benefits routine with her now husband. Basically, Mia Gray is every man's dream come true, so see what she had to tell us by scrolling down.
FHM: We Know You Said You Were Bullied When Younger For Being The "Ugly Duckling," How'd You Overcome That?
Mia Gray: "By studying... a lot! Seriously, though, I graduated high school when I was just 15 years old. I would study over and over again to cope with the bullying. Eventually, my self-confidence started to rebuild itself as I became successful in the business industry. It’s true what they say; feeling beautiful doesn’t come from the outside, it’s how you feel on the inside. It was definitely not easy, but achieving my goals helped me a lot."
FHM: Why Do Kids Have To Be So Mean? Hopefully There Aren't Any Leftover Scars In Your Adulthood.
Mia Gray: "Honestly, right? I think to cope with their own insecurities. I wish I knew this before so it could have been easier for me to not feel bitter towards the kids who were mean to me. They need love too!"
FHM: You've Shown All Those Kids, Though, Becoming A Model Who's Adored By Millions!
Mia Gray: "I’m a work in progress, as I always say. Self-esteem issues and insecurities haunts you. It has to be your choice to find a way to battle it."
FHM: Now That You're A Model, What's The Sexiest Part About Posing For The Camera?
Mia Gray: "Everything! Being in front of the camera lets me become sensual and/or guarded at the same time. I can be versatile, and that’s my favorite part of it all."
FHM: We Also Know You Used To Be Into Women... Uh, Stories, Now!
Mia Gray: "Oh, there are so many! Women are so passionate and giving and actually care about pleasing you versus just pleasing themselves. I think I can pretty much say that I've done it all in the world of women and sex." (laughs)
FHM: What Made You Go From Gals To Guys?
Mia Gray: "I was just never attracted to any men (at all); I didn’t even have a celebrity crush who wasn't a woman. I was 27 when I first met the only man who I've ever been physically attracted to. We actually just got married earlier this year, too. When I want something, I make sure I get it."
FHM: You Also Mentioned You Did Friends With Benefits For Six Months With Your No Fiance, Any Tips On How To Do That?
Mia Gray: "Oh, yeah, I have plenty! Avoid the I love you’s! Those words are so wonderful, but they can put pressure on things. Build a strong friendship with that person! Don't ever stay over! Coffee in the morning repeatedly will make you both feel like that relationship you both have is more than just 'sex,' and that could turn out good, but it could also end very badly. This one is very important; keep the relationship between you two only! Don’t tell your friends or either of your family. They don’t need to know. Make sure you are single. There is absolutely no excuse for cheating on someone, whether you love them or not. Friends with benefits type of relationship can be fun, just don’t hurt someone in the process."
