Nike has gone and released a throwback to its classic '97 advert Park Life – a much-deserved tribute to your efforts in the Sunday League.
The range was shown off by Raheem Sterling, with an appearance from Ian Wright, who starred in the original ad.
Football is a simple game. Two teams, two goals, a ball and an inclination to risk everything is all it takes for the local park with its pot-holed pitch to rival a modern stadium. The classic advert highlighted that by sticking proper footballing names alongside typical Sunday League players.
“I think the reason it’s loved so much is because people saw professionals and ordinary football kids playing on Hackney Marshes with a great soundtrack," Wright says. "It was just really cool."
The Nike FC Fall 2015 collection is available online right now, and in selected Nike stores
